The Marketing/Operations Analyst reports to the VP of Refined Products and is responsible for generating new customers, increasing volume with existing customers as well as performing key back-office functions from invoicing assistance to customer/carrier authorizations, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish new rack customers in expanding and existing markets/pipelines through phone, social media, trade shows, etc.
• Service existing rack customers by communicating our daily prices, fixed price opportunities, as well as new products and terminals.
• Create and maintain clear and concise customer data base to efficiently communicate product price and volume changes based on quickly moving market conditions.
• Assist in the creation of loading numbers across multiple platforms from DTN Tabs to individual pipeline portals.
• Assist in carrier clearance and authorization across multiple platforms from DTN Tabs to individual pipeline portals.
• Manage product/volume allocations at various terminals via DTN Tabs.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with DTN Suite of Products (Tabs, Fuel Seller, Fuel Buyer) preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with various Pipeline Portals (Magellan, Kinder Morgan, T4, Enterprise E Stream) preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent written, oral, and in-person communication skills are essential.
• The ideal candidate is highly organized and adaptable to change; has excellent customer service skills, is an innovative thinker with the ability to pay particular attention to detail.
• Some travel is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• College Diploma and/or Equivalent required.
• 0-3 years Refined Products Experience.
